Tip for exercise 2 - Knee Hug

Hello, Thank you for downloading the 'Three of the Best - Exercises to reduce back pain"  booklet.  Today I would just like to give you a tip for exercise No. 2, the Knee Hug.

This exercise is quite easy, you are simply holding your knees up close to your chest. But the tip I would like to give you today is to tighten your lower abdominal muscles as you do this stretch.

While you are holding your knees close to your chest, tighten your lower abdominal muscles - those muscles across your hips.  The reason for that is, as you tighten the front of you,  there is a natural reaction to relax your lower back, so you can enjoy the stretch a little more.
